The Eleventh Annual Louis Gregory Symposium on Race Unity will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Agard-Lovinggood Auditorium on the campus of Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, Texas from 1 - 4:30 pm.
It will be a great event, with lots of people in attendance. We have three exciting speakers who will give a TED talk on their compelling personal stories of my path to racial reconciliation and unity.
Brion Oaks, Chief Equity Officer, City of Austin
Laura Gomez-Horton, LCSW Clinical Director, YWCA Austin
Chris Tomlinson, Business Columnist, Houston Chronicle, and author of Tomlinson Hill
You will hear their stories, have lots of thoughtful conversation and discussion, and take part in the recognition of this year's Louis Gregory Memorial Scholarship recipients from Huston-Tillotson University.
Jointly sponsored by Huston-Tillotson University and the Austin Baha'i community, this annual event honors the work of Louis Gregory and asks participants to join together to consider what can be done to continue his life-long vision of creating racial amity and equity.
